Dr. Dietrich Pielsticker, born in Essen, works as a lawyer, mediator, and retired notary. He is a founding partner of the law firm PIELSTICKER MOHME and the mediation company adribo. At the same time, he is licensed as an Attorney-at-Law in the State of New York, USA. He studied in Berlin, Freiburg (where he completed his first state examination and doctorate), and Munich, where he also completed his legal clerkship (second state examination) and was admitted as a lawyer. In 2005, he completed mediation training at the German Lawyers’ Academy (DAA) and additionally obtained a qualification as a business mediator from the Centrale für Mediation (CfM).

Dr. Dietrich Pielsticker obtained his Master of Arts in Mediation from the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt/Oder. In 2013, he co-authored the commentary on the Mediation Act with Prof. Dr. Roland Fritz (a partner at adribo), which is now available in its third edition as the “Handbook on Mediation Law” published by Luchterhand Verlag in 2024.

In 2024, Dr. Dietrich Pielsticker was appointed by the Charlottenburg District Court as the first restructuring mediator in Berlin under the StaRUG (Law on the Stabilization and Restructuring Framework for Companies).
